Netbook PCs are compact and light devices that are easy to take along almost anywhere. Often, however, the restrictive factor is lack of Internet connection. Not every park, mall, or railway station provides wireless Wi-Fi access for accidental web surfers. A number of new netbooks come with 3G connectivity that allows Internet access via mobile network. 3G network is practically the only solution for those netbook users who are on the move. So, the optimal solution would be a netbook with 3G connectivity, but without the premium mobile networks tend to charge for high-speed data plans.

    This looks like the first part of an interesting entry – why can’t I see the rest of it?
    Portability is essential but I find the 10 inch screen on the samsung NC10 is about right – better than the smaller 8.9 or 7 inch screens. The NC10 also has 3G built in – all you need is the sim card. You also need a convenient means of transporting the unit and, it may be old fashioned, but depending on your use of the equipment, you might need mobile printing facilities too – see http://www.mytex.co.uk for some of my favourite solutions.
